Happy new year! We are using the 5168NV-110 gateway leased to us from AT&T U-Verse. For various reasons we want to use it just as DSL modem (we only have internet) and routing to a box downstream --- a Wi-Fi router capable of dual (or more) SSIDs, segregate internal GUEST SSID from the main internal, etc.
The best option is to put both modems in bridge mode so they will actually pass a public IP to the Peplink, but I believe it takes an act of God to get AT&T to do this. Your only other option would be to configure one of the modems to use a different IP range (ie 192.168.2.x). Hope this helps…

Tried getting the 5168 into bridge mode again last night. Every time I attempted to grab an IP using my own device behind the bridge, the 5168 restarted itself. After a few attempts, I disabled bridge mode and the 5168 could not grab an IP. I had to factory reset it to get it back to a working state. Definitely something wrong with the firmware.
